Arrival in Puerto Natales and First Encounter with Patagonia
Welcome to Patagonia.
Upon arrival, you will be met at Puerto Natales airport or the bus terminal and transferred to your accommodation in Puerto Natales.
The afternoon is free for you to begin exploring at your own pace. We recommend a walk along the waterfront, visiting urban viewpoints, and discovering local cafes and quiet corners that help you start feeling the rhythm and energy of the south.
Dinner is on your own. We will share our local recommendations in advance.

Full Day Torres del Paine or Base Towers Trek
A full day exploring Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Patagonia.
Option A Full Day Torres del Paine
A scenic journey through the park’s most iconic areas, with stops at panoramic viewpoints and a short hike of approximately two hours. This option is ideal if you want to enjoy turquoise lakes, dramatic mountain scenery, and Patagonian wildlife without intense physical effort.
Option B Base Towers Trek
A demanding hike to the park’s most iconic viewpoint, covering approximately 22 kilometers over 8 to 10 hours. This option is recommended for travelers in good physical condition and is considered a classic experience in Torres del Paine.
Includes: Professional guide and driver, private transportation, National park entrance fee, box lunch and accommodation.
Grey Glacier Navigation or Balmaceda and Serrano Navigation>
A day dedicated to Patagonia’s glaciers, sailing through fjords and navigating among ice and water.
Option A Grey Glacier Navigation
Departure from the Lago Grey sector for a navigation of approximately two and a half hours in front of the three glacier tongues of Grey Glacier, one of the most iconic natural highlights of Torres del Paine.
Option B Balmaceda and Serrano Navigation
Departure from Puerto Natales for a full day navigation through the fjords of Última Esperanza Sound. The experience includes views of hanging glaciers, a short walk inside Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, and a traditional lunch at a Patagonian ranch.
Includes: Grey Glacier or Balmaceda and Serrano boat ticket, private transportation, accommodation, lunch or box lunch.
Estancia La Peninsula. Patagonian Culture and Rural Life
A day dedicated to connecting with local traditions and the rural spirit of Patagonia.
At 8:30 a.m., you’ll need to make your own way to the port in Puerto Natales. A taxi or Uber ride takes approximately 10 minutes from downtown.
From there, you’ll board a small Zodiac boat for a scenic 45-minute navigation across the fjord, arriving at Estancia La Peninsula — a traditional and working Patagonian ranch accessible only by water.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with coffee and freshly made sopaipillas before choosing your activity for the morning:
– A three-hour horseback ride across open landscapes
– A three-hour guided hike through the surrounding hills
After your activity, you’ll return to the estancia to enjoy a traditional Patagonian asado, featuring locally raised lamb.
In the afternoon, you’ll witness a sheep-shearing demonstration and learn about daily ranch life, including how sheepdogs and horses are used in traditional Patagonian work.
You’ll then navigate back across the fjord, arriving in Puerto Natales at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Departure from Puerto Natales
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred from your accommodation to Puerto Natales airport or the bus terminal.
This marks the end of the Patagonia Express program.
